Hello there! I’m so glad you’re here!
Whether you found me by incident, social media, a friend or colleague, I’m happy to see you’re checking me out.
I’m not sure how many people actually read these pages anymore, but I do know that it helps to feel like you kind of know someone before you actually trust them, or buy from them, or what have you. That’s my goal with this page anyhow.
So let me introduce myself…
My name is Angie Katzberg. I wear many hats as I’m sure you do as well.
I’m a wife. I’ve been married to my husband for almost 20 years now.
I’m a mother, which also makes me a bus driver, an activity coordinator, a laundry mat, a drive through restaurant at times, a cleaning service, you name it. Wouldn’t trade it for the world though.
I’m a Registered Dietitian, also known as the Nutrition Lady. Some other people refer to us as Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDN), but I’m a little bit old school. I have been in the field since 2001 and have never regretted my career choice. I love all things food, nutrition, fitness, and health.
I’m also a child of God. I share this because it’s important to me to share my faith, but also to give you an idea of my morals and background.
Nebraska has always been my home. I grew up in the panhandle, went to college in the big city of Lincoln, Nebraska, where I met my husband. He’s also from Nebraska and he brought me to Central Nebraska.
We live on a farm in rural Adams County. My closest neighbor is across the section and the closest Wal-Mart is a 20 minute drive. (If you’re a small town person yourself, you’ll understand the humor here.)
THIS, this course, is my hobby, my labor of love, my passion. I have enjoyed every moment in creating this course. I get to express my creativity. I can do what I want with it. I can tweak it, alter it, play with it, whatever. It doesn’t feel like work to me. It’s what I get to spend my “free” time on, outside of being a mom that is.
Why sports nutrition? You know, that’s kind of a good question. I suppose it starts a little personal in nature (I love fitness too, remember) and has evolved as my children have grown.
I really like working with this age group though - adolescents to young adults. They’re like little sponges. Curious, but challenging. Growing, but still want guidance. The younger generation is our future and I feel like I can make an impact here.
So I could go on and on but I like to keep things short and simple. I am a one woman show and I’m happy to have a conversation anytime and get to know you a little more.
If you want to get to know me more, then contact me here. Maybe we can schedule a chat over a virtual cup of coffee. How does that sound?

Sometimes it’s comforting to know what others have to say about a person…
“Angie is a great person who has the open mind to learn about all of our student-athletes needs and want’s. Her ability to come up with ideas on how to increase their knowledge of nutrition has been impressive. In the short time we have worked with Angie we have seen results with our athlete’s."
